About Me
Welcome!
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make the process easier. Feel free to explore this website, and if you’d like, we can have a no-obligation conversation to see if I’m the right fit for you. If not, I’m happy to help connect you with someone who might be. I am deeply committed to fostering equality, diversity, and inclusion in my practice, and I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.
I am a trained counsellor and psychotherapist who offers online, telephone and walking therapy to adults from my home in Southwold, Suffolk. I hold an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich and I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I also teach on a counselling degree course. I love working with students and offer a concessional rate for those who are studying to be a counsellor.
I have expertise in trauma therapy, particularly with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and rape survivors. I have experience with working with people of faith, neurodivergent people and people from the LGBTQ+ community.

FAQs
What is Counselling?
Counselling offers an opportunity to speak in confidence with a professional therapist about anything that is causing you emotional distress. It may be that you simply want time for self-reflection and to set new goals. Also, life can be daunting and we all have times when we feel anxious, depressed or unable to cope. Counselling offers you the space to make some sense of these feelings and to find a way forward.
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy. Many people use it to reflect, gain insight, and explore what they truly want from life.
What Areas of Support are offered?
I have helped clients work through issues such as:
- Bereavement
- Depression
- Self-Esteem
- Confidence
- Childhood Sexual Abuse
- Rape
- Relationship difficulties
- Anxiety
- Trauma
What can I expect?
Sessions last 60 minutes and typically occur once a week. Together, we will discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, which often involves exploring past events and key relationships. We will also examine how your past influences your present, helping you to understand and change patterns that may be holding you back.
